Durham Stammering Support News

The Nottingham Self Help Group for Stammerers are holding an open day on Saturday October 22nd 2011 10am - 4pm. The event is open to all who stammer, family and friends, colleagues, speech and language therapists, SLT students and other professionals interested in stammering.

A mix of workshops complementing the theme of the day will include mindfulness, assertiveness, open forum and self help. There will also be a 'Question and Answer Panel' and an 'Open Mic' session.

The venue is:

County Hall, Rufford Suite, Nottinghamshire County Council, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7QP.

Keynote speakers include: Vic Gilgeous, Mary Bird and Norbert Lieckfeldt - BSA Chief Executive
