Speech Tools

DAF Professional has been developed to be the leading app to help people who stutter.  It helps people to slow their rate of speech down which makes it sound clearer to others.  As you know, DAF is a well established speech and language therapy tool which helps people to speak more slowly.  However, until recently, devises have been cumbersome to carry around, difficult to adjust, very expensive and therefore not widely used.

DAF Professional is an easy to use and professional speech therapy tool which could help a large number of people who stutter.

Recommended Reading

This book was recommended by one of the attendees of the Durham BSA conference. The author is John Harrison and he is a recovered stammerer. The book has some good reviews and is free to view on line. There are approximately 600 pages . I personally like the first page which has 2 memorable quotes, one seen on a gravestone: " be what you is, cuz if you be what you aint, you aint what you is" and my favourite from a man who said so many memorable things, Winston Churchill, " we are changed by what we do, not by what we think about, or read about, but by what we actually do".
